The NCAE VIVID competition is for teams up to 5 students from a CAE school. Only one team from the same College or University is allowed. All 5 team members must be students from the same CAE school. The first phase of the competition is a virtual event 7-9 October 2025. The top 15 teams will compete in the live event to continue the competition at the CAE Annual Meeting in Spring 2026. Day 1 of the virtual event is CTF, Day 2 is Red Teaming, Day 3 is Blue Teaming. Each team will have 4 hours each day from the time of entry onto the platform to complete challenges. Access to the competition is through a web interface, so you do not need any special hardware or software to compete. The Live event follows a similar schedule, adding a King of the Hill event on Day 4.
